Any person over the age of eighteen years shall be eligible for membership of the Programme, and shall, subject to the approval of the National Executive committee, become a member on payment of a non-refundable registration entrance fee of Kshs.1, 000.00 for Kenyan resident members and USD 50 for non resident members.

However members shall be required to fulfill the following rules;

• Every members shall pay an annual subscription of Kshs. 200.00 for Kenyan resident members and USD 10 for non resident members. Any member desiring to resign from the Programme shall submit his/her resignation to the Secretary General of such notice by giving a written notice of sixty (60) days.
• Any member may be expelled from membership if the National Executive committee so recommends and if a general meeting of the Programme shall resolve by a two-thirds majority of the members present that such a member should be expelled on grounds that his/her conduct has adversely affected the reputation or dignity of the Programme, or that he/she has contravened any of the provisions of the constitution of the Programme. The committee shall have power to suspend a member from his/her membership until the next general meeting of the Programme following such suspension but not withstanding such suspension a member whose expulsion is proposed shall have the right to address the general meeting at which his/her expulsion is to be considered.
• Any person who resigns or is removed from membership shall not be entitled to a refund of his subscription or any part thereof or any monies contributed by him/her at any time other than monthly SACCO contributions.
